Celia Godines previously worked for Marriott Hotels for over 20 years, and brings Management Skills, Sales, and Operations to Blaze. She left the industry to work full time with Blaze as the Office Manager.Now, Blaze has a strong foundation of high end clients, that have been with Blaze for over 12 years and continue to call for all their Fire Inspection and installation needs.
After working with a large chain Fire and Safety Companies, Alfred who is also known as Freddy, started Blaze with one truck one customer and started his self-owned company. With over 25 years of continued experience, we are excited to bring “Accountability and Credibility” to the Texas Area. We looked forward to serving you, and providing our best of the best installations and inspections.Blaze Fire and Safety has been operating, serving and providing professional installations and inspections for over 12 years based in San Antonio Texas. Alfred Godines, CEO
Alfred Godines, a veteran of our navy armed forces. Alfred served four years and as a E4 ranking navy damage control man and served in Desert Storms. He's active role on the navy ship was firemen, and was overseeing all of the Fire and Safety equipment and operations. Through the years Alfred traveled the world of Hong Kong, Dubai, and Saudi Arabia just to name a few. With his world travel experiences, and all his training through the Navy Services, Alfred also known now as Freddy, started his civilian work in the Fire and Safety Industry in 1992 working for several large companies such as Fire Master and others. Through the years, his reputation has been "Accountability and Credibility" which landed him several key accounts. In 2005, Freddy started his own company called Blaze Fire and Safety. With one truck and one customer, Freddy started building his company on the basis of being accountable to his clients and established credibility with them as well. As the company grew, Alfred hired his wife and co-Owner Celia Godines as the Office Manager. Together they have established a strong foundation for Blaze Fire & Safety.
Celia Godines, Co-Owner/Office Manager
Celia Godines, originally from San Diego, California moved to Texas in 2001. Celia Godines started working for Marriott International Hotels. With her experience of over 20 years in the hospitality industry, she brings Management Skills, Sales, and Operations. With her endless knowledge of several different departments, Celia retained her skills and understood service. Her passion for serving and managing led her to take her knowledge and join Blaze Fire and Safety in 2005. She now works full time with Blaze as the Office Manager and Co-Owner. She assists in the day to day office operation and manages some of Blaze's top accounts. Now, Blaze has a strong foundation with Celia's expertise and knowledge.
Joshua Rodriguez, COO
Joshua Rodriguez III, born and raised in the San Antonio, Texas Graduate of St. Gerard's Catholic High School, who also attended St. Philips College for Hospitality Management courses, Has been in the Hospitality Hotel Industry since 1990. His first hotel was the Sheraton Gunter Hotel and made his way up to Guest Services Manager at the Sheraton. Joshua Rodriguez is respected in the hospitality industry with now a career spanning over 25 years. Joshua' career started with Sheraton Hotels and Hilton Hotels, but has worked with Marriott hotels for a total of 14 years combined with several different brands. He served as an Area General Manager for multiple Hotels under Island Hospitality Management and held similar roles with Other Large Hospitality Management Companies.
Joshua's career has also included, being a certified trainer, certified HR, and customer service specialist. In 2015, Joshua and his wife Mary opened their own company Safeguard Management and Training Services, specializing in customer service training and providing management and Marketing services to other companies. Josh has an unwavering commitment to service, employees, clients and satisfaction through a passion for training and continuous improvement which his past records shows excellence. He is excited to bring all these attributes to Blaze Fire and Safety Company as Chief Operating Officer, which already has a solid foundation.
Mary Rodriguez, Marketing Manager
Mary Rodriguez is the Marketing Manager for Blaze Fire and Safety bringing in over 20 years of Sales Marketing experience working for Marriott International Hotels, and other Management companies. Mary's motto is "Knowing your customers' needs". Originally from McAllen, Texas, Mary moved to San Antonio in 1995 to pursue her career in the hospitality industry of Sales and Marketing. There her knowledge about sales escalated and she was quickly promoted where she was Marketing for four different brand hotels for Presidian Management Company. Her passion continues as she fosters strong relationships with her clients, and knowing their needs. In 2015, Mary and her husband Joshua opened their own company Safeguard Management and Training Services, specializing in customer service training and providing management and Marketing services to other companies. She is excited to be part of Blaze Fire and Safety's new phase and looks forward to Marketing the new divisions that we have added.
